Compulsory car equipment
• triangle;
• spare lamps;
• first aid kit;
• pulling rope (3-5 m) or a pole (3 m);
• spare tyre.

Winter equipment
Winter equipment is compulsory if there are winter conditions on the roads, i. e. if they are covered with at least 5 cm of snow or if they are very slippery.

Compulsory winter equipment:
• M+S winter tyres on the drive wheels or radial tyres on all four wheels;
• chains on the drive wheels;
The grooves on winter tyres should be at least 4 mm deep.

Safety belt

The use of a safety belts by drivers and passengers is compulsory. When using them it is necessary to follow the instructions of their manufacturer. Penalty of Kn 500 is charged if the belts are not used.

Lights in traffic
During the drive by night and at daytime,  at least the low beams should be switched on to light the road. Fog headlamp is used only when it is foggy. Motorcycles and mopeds in traffic by night and day should have at least low beams.

Helmets
Drivers of motorcycles or mopeds and the accompanying persons are obliged to wear protective helmets.
