The Mljet summer of culture

The National park on the Island Mljet is what makes Mljet the most beautiful island in the Adriatic Sea. In addition to its natural beauties, its guests can enjoy the Mljet Summer of Culture. Going on for forty days in the middle of the tourist season, the event featuring numerous guest performances by eminent musicians, exhibitions of works of academic artists, theatrical performances and folklore shows enriches the stay of the island's guests. In addition, the event plays a humanitarian role.

The entire proceeds of the programs are donated to the St. Mary's Foundation for maintenance of the ancient St. Mary's Benedictine Monastery, the highest-category monument situated on the Great Lake on the Island of Mljet.
