The Kastav summer of culture

On a hill above Rijeka lies the small town of Kastav, a town of culture and education. In keeping with this tradition, summers in Kastav offer a rich cultural program of quality where visitors can find a wide range of drama, music and art events. Numerous plays, concerts featuring local and international musicians, and various exhibitions enhance still further the romantic atmosphere that charms those who come to the Kastav Summer of Culture. This oldest summer festival in the Kvarner region dates back to the early 1990s, 1992 to be exact.
