Summer in Ston

The Diocese of Ston is the oldest Croatian diocese. This is the reason why each visit to the town of Ston is a direct contact with ancient times and events. Situated on the beautiful peninsula of Pelješac, which has frequently been the target of conquerors, the walls of Ston bear marks of the centuries of struggle for the survival of its indigenous culture, the results of which are best seen during the manifestations organized within the Summer in Ston.

In summer months, the streets of Ston ring with the sounds of Dalmatian harmony singing groups and concerts, and serve as a stage for fashion shows.
