Požega-Slavonia county, or Požeško-slavonska županija, is a Croatian county in central Slavonia. The Požega-Slavonia county borders on the Bjelovar-Bilogora county in the northwest, Virovitica-Podravina county in the north, Osijek-Baranja county in the northeast, Brod-Posavina county in the south, and Sisak-Moslavina county in the southwest.

A town in the Pozega depression, located on the Orljava river. Its history is long and rich (remains of the Roman settlement of Incerum are neraby). It was first mentioned in written documents in 1227.

An old cultural centre (gymnasium was founded in 1699; academy in 1754-73). The architecture is in baroque style with numerous cultural monuments, e.g. the curch of  St. Lawrence, the Plague Pillar, the Franciscan monastery, the church of  St. Therese of Avila. Pozega and surroundings are a veritable heaven for hunters and fishermen, as well as nature lovers, and numerous events during the year replenish the overall tourist offering.
