In order to celebrate their town’s patron saint, St. Anthony, on 13 June, the people of Novalja start the long hot summer with a wide range of cultural - artistic and entertainment events.
The Novalja cultural summer is made up of, amongst other things, the “Novaljski trijatar”, which this year will play host to a series of drama events, classical musical concerts performed by local and visiting musicians, a variety of art exhibitions, a special exhibition of Pag sheep and Pag cheese, and an ethno evening which will include a Festival of Nakanat Songs from the island of Pag.
