Moonlight shines down on the Neretva river
When moonlight shines down upon the Neretva estuary, the game of shadows and light under the bright sky surpasses even the most amazing stage sets. It seems as if nature is playing with our feelings, showing us how little is needed for the perfect harmony and accord. The people of the area are fully aware of that, they took the natural light as the starting point of their Festival which enhances the beauty of Croatian nature and Croatian music.
To wit, Metkovic becomes the gathering point for folklore groups coming both from Croatia and abroad, and their singing and dancing is a hymn to the Moon above their beloved Neretva River. /Source: Croatian National Tourist Board/
