International festival of small stage

This Festival has become one of the favoured gathering points for the European theatre enthusiasts with a special love for unconventional approach to the stage and performing arts. At the international level, the name of the Festival stands for provocation and challenge. Independent theater production has for many years been in its full swing and the audiences have recognized it. It therefore comes as no surprise that some of the most stirring theatre productions have been produced by the creative energy of small theatre stages.

In addition to theaters from all the neighboring countries, theaters from the UK, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany and other European countries have also performed in Rijeka. Among the many famous names, we should highlight the performance of the leading lady of the Italian Theater, Emmy Dante, and the winner of the European award for new theater realities, Alvis Hermanis.
