Brave Chief Winnetou rode around our Paklenica National Park (as well as Krka and Plitvica Lakes) but only on film – the natural beauty of these parks were used for the film that was filmed forty years ago on the basis of the famous book by Karl May.
Today, thanks to this event, you can enjoy the locations where the film was recorded, enjoy the natural beauty of Croatia, try out horse riding or archery or sit around a camp fire in the evening tasting a variety of delicacies and enjoying country music.
