Days of truffles

No true gourmet in the world should regard her or himself as such if, at least once in their life, they have not wanted to taste truffles - the gourmet crown jewel of Istria. Truffles, these odd looking mushrooms that grow under ground, are a trademark of Istria, and the folk of Istria show their gratitude by jealously guarding the recipes specific to their peninsula.

Come November, however, the whole of Istria celebrates the Days of Truffles which provide the opportunity for all to savour the wealth of truffles in every possible combination of flavors. The Truffle Days in autumn offer you an opportunity to learn about the wonder of truffles in all their tasty possible combinations.
