Every year, the Days of the Hvar Theater, dedicated solely to our written word, take place in the town of Hvar.
For those few days Hvar is totally committed to the call of the footlights. Numerous plays are given on the stage of the old Hvar Theater and many other sites in the town, and the common thread linking them all is that they are all adaptations of works by Croatian authors. /Text source: Croatian National Tourist Board/
