HAK - TRAFFIC AND ROAD CONDITIONS - 21 March 2013
Due to strong wind passenger traffic is allowed only on the section of the A1 motorway between Sveti Rok and Posedarje junctions, on the D54 Maslenica-Zaton Obrovački state road and on Pag bridge.
On the part of the D8 Adriatic road Senj-Karlobag there is a traffic ban on: doubledeckers, trailers and motorcycles. From Karlobag to Sveta Marija Magdalena passenger vehicles proceed only.
Wind is blowing also on the A6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorway, section Kikovica-Tuhobić tunnel.
Most roads are wet and slippery. Expect rock and land sliding on the D8 Adriatic road and in the mountain regions!
That is why all traffic is closed on the D3 state road Rijeka-Banska vrata-Orehovica. Detour: through Vežica or Škurinje junction.
Due to the winter driving conditions there is a traffic ban on freight vehicles with a trailer and all other vehicles have to use the winter equipment in Lika mountain area on the D42 state road at Poljanak.
